In the film, two weddings, one baptism and one funeral. In between these events, someone is usually blown up, shot, cut, strangled or just beaten. Typical family life, is not it. br> Many reviewers assure that the "Godfather" is focused not on mafia fights, but on relationships within the family. I dare not agree with this point of view.

The motive of the family, I do not argue, is strong. But still it is a film about the mafia, about the bandits. If you replace relatives with companions-friends, not so much will change in the plot, as it seems at first glance.

The creators of "The Godfather" idealize the image of the criminal. Men in black tuxedos in posh black cars. But are they men? People who lie, who do not keep their word, who smile in the face, holding a knife behind their back. br> The film shows that any problem is solved in at least two ways. You can try to talk to your opponent. And you can just put him on the bed. br> For all that, I liked The Godfather. The action takes place measuredly, but not boring. Acting, as far as I can tell, is at a high level. And, of course, the music is just amazing.

Great movie... at first it seems as a slow development. but the whole movie is the development of things to come and how the characters are reshaped and become what they are and you are completely glued to the plot. It is not your typical movie that you can figure out everything from the beginning or almost from it. Here if you are really really smart and maybe know a bit about the plot may figure something out but in general the movie is leading you. There is nothing which is stupid in this movie! but you have to be concentrated not to miss any part because everything is so integral in realising what was what!
